Day 6: Winnemucca to Cupertino, CA!

We are here! Finally! The last day was only 400 miles, but it seemed to last forever. After about three hours, we finally left the desert of Nevada and came into California.

We drove through Tahoe National Forest which was beautiful, and just felt like a breath of fresh air after hundreds of miles of barren desert. After a little bit of traffic, we finally came into Cupertino, and were welcomed with 90 degree temperatures. Our complex is very nice (we have palm trees!), and our apartment is cozy. Wally is behaving a little better than he was in the hotels, he's getting the routine down.
After a necessary Tarjay run, we went to Whole Foods, where I am pretty sure I could eat every day for the rest of my life and never get sick of it. We found a delicious local Malbec, and toasted to our new home.

On the agenda for today? The dog park so the puppy can get some much needed exercise, get the Tig detailed since Nate is having a tough time seeing her so dirty, and do some exploring!

PS: I will be looking for a better blogging site since I just can't get the hang of posting pictures on blogger.
